Bread Pakora

Bread Pakora is a tasty and luscious snack which is also an easy and simple recipe to prepare when sudden guests come over or to serve kids in the evening.These comfort food give you a warm feeling inside and make any rainy day perfect.And it is also a tasty compliment for your afternoon tea.

Besan 1 cup
Hing 1/4 tsp
Baking powder 1/4 tsp
Bread 8 Slices
Ajwain 1/2 tsp
Nigella 1/4 tsp
Sarson 1/2 tsp
garlic (ground) 2 pods
Water 1/4 cup
Onion (chopped) 1
Aloo 2
Salt To taste
ginger (ground) 1/2 inch
Garam Masala Powder  1/4 tsp
Cooking Oil  1 cup
Haldi Powder
 1/2 tsp
Lal Mirch Powder  1/2 tsp



  1. Mix ajwain, Hing, baking powder, besan, nigella and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the water to it slowly and mix it till the batter is smooth and thick. (Batter is ready.)
  3. Boil, peel and cut the aloo in small pieces.
  4. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a frying pan.
  5. Add sarson in the oil when it is hot.
  6. After a minute, add the chopped onion in the frying pan and fry it till it becomes golden brown.
  7. Add ground ginger and garlic to the fried onion.
  8. Add haldi powder, lal mirch powder and salt.
  9. Add chopped potatoes and garam masala powder after a while.
  10. Mix them and fry for some time. (Stuffing is ready.)
  11. Cut the side of the bread and cut it into triangular shape.
  12. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  13. Fill the potato stuffing between two triangular pieces of bread.
  14. Dip it in the batter properly to cover it entirely with the batter.
  15. Fry it deep on the medium heat carefully.
  16. Bread pakora is ready.
  17. Serve it with chutney.
