Papri Chaat

Papri Chaat is one of the most liked chaat items. Prepared with papri, boiled Aloo, chole, sweet and green chutney and Dahi.

Ingredients
Atta 2 Cup
Maida 4 Cups
Dahi 6 Cups
Boiled Aloo 4
Lal Mirch Powder 4 tbsp
Haldi Powder 1 tbsp
Jeera Powder 2 tbsp
Ajwain Powder 1 tbsp
Dhania Leaves 1 Bunch
Grated Coconut 1 Cup
Imli 2 tbsp
Dates 6
Green Chillies 1/4 cup
Salt To Taste
Kadi Patta
Chat Powder 1 tbsp

 

Method:

  1. Mix flour, Maida, ajwain powder, cumin seeds powder, red chilli powder and turmeric powder.
  2. Add water to make hard dough.
  3. Roll out puris from this dough.
  4. Heat the oil and deep fry them.
  5. Blend the curd nicely.
  6. Heat the oil and put cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves for 2 minutes.
  7. Pour in the curd and mix it properly.
  8. Mix dates and tamarind.
  9. Add water and boil till it gets cooked.
  10. Blend it in a mixer to make a paste.
  11. Add red chilli and salt.
  12. Mash the potatoes and add chat powder.
  13. Crush the puris and ad 1 tbsp of mashed potatoes.
  14. Pour 4 tbsp of curd mix and add 1 tsp of red chutney over it.
  15. Sprinkle chat powder and serve.
