Khichdi
KHICHDI is comfort food. It is traditional Indian food which is easily digested.
Ingredients | |
Soaked Rice | 250 gms |
Soaked Moong Dal | 50 gm |
Chopped Onions | 4 |
Haldi Powder | 1 tsp |
Lal Mirch Powder | 1 tsp |
Salt | To taste |
Water | 3 Cups |
Ghee | For Deep Frying |
METHOD
- Heat the oil and fry chopped onions till it turns brown.
- Add Moong Dal and rice.
- Add salt, Haldi powder & Lal Mirch powder.
- Add the water, cover and cook over medium heat.
- Serve hot with curd .
